Annual Tuition – $30,000

The Full-Time In-Person Program includes every element of the VPA experience — academics, athletics, mentorship, and experiential learning — in one unified tuition.

Academic Excellence

Students complete all core academics through the Two Hour Learning platform, mastering rigorous college-prep subjects in just two focused hours per day. Personalized mentorship and mastery data guide progress, ensuring each student advances at their own pace. VPA students may also earn college-level credit through Colorado Mountain College, blending high-school and university-level achievement.

Studio Courses and Capstones

Every three weeks, students rotate into immersive studio-style courses co-taught by teachers and industry experts. Afternoons feature AlphaX-style capstone projects that combine innovation, entrepreneurship, and sport performance. Each project culminates in a public showcase or real-world deliverable, giving students a portfolio of mastery, creativity, and leadership.

Human Performance Integration

Athletic development is integrated directly into each student’s schedule. Strength, conditioning, recovery, nutrition, and mindset training are personalized and guided by performance data. Students work alongside professional coaches and wellness specialists, learning how to manage recovery, optimize training, and sustain long-term health and focus.

Experiential Learning

Learning at VPA extends far beyond the classroom. Students engage in domestic field experiences tied to academic and athletic performance themes and participate in one annual international service-learning trip each spring. Through partnerships with the Bindu Memorial Fund and local organizations across Eagle County, students apply their learning to meaningful community impact.

Technology and Mentorship

All instructional materials, laptops, and learning software are included in tuition. Students receive direct mentorship from VPA faculty and visiting professionals in education, sport science, and entrepreneurship. Schedules are designed around training and competition, giving every student the structure and freedom to perform at their highest level.

Tuition FAQ

Is there an application or enrollment fee?
A one-time enrollment deposit of $500 secures a student’s place once admitted. This fee is applied toward tuition and is non-refundable after June 1.

When is tuition due?
Tuition can be paid annually, semi-annually, or monthly through an approved payment plan. Full payment is due by August 15 for the academic year unless a payment schedule is arranged.

What does tuition include?
All academic instruction, studio courses, mentorship, technology access, instructional materials, and one annual international service-learning trip are included. There are no additional required fees.

Are meals, lodging, or transportation included?
Tuition covers all on-campus activities, programming, and local field experiences. Students and families are responsible for personal meals, travel, and lodging during trips.

Are there additional costs?
Optional items such as extra tutoring sessions, specialized equipment, or an additional international trip may incur additional costs. These are clearly communicated in advance.

Is financial aid or scholarship available?
At this time, Vail Performance Academy does not offer financial aid or merit scholarships. Our tuition model is designed to include all educational experiences in one transparent cost.

Do students need to bring their own device?
Yes.
